The Highline Premier FC Goalkeeper Academy
provides players with quality instruction focused on individual development. Goalkeepers are trained in various aspects of the game including technical, tactical, physical, and mental.
All Highline Premier FC players 10U-18U are welcome to participate. For players younger than 10U, please review the young player policy listed below.
Highline Select goalkeepers are welcome to attend academy training when approved by their HSA Select Coach and HSA Select Director of Coaching.
Players will be placed in groups appropriate to their skills, to challenge them to advance their technique, and to achieve success in defending the goal.
Our Goalkeeper training program is open to
ALL HPFC players. We offer weekly training sessions through the course of the season. Goalkeepers are grouped by age and development level in small player focused sessions.
Our HPFC Director of Goalkeeping provides an annual written player review to celebrate areas of achievement and provide a plan for areas that need improvement.

This group generally consists of players between 9-11 years old.
This group generally consists of players between 12-14 years old.
Generally, this group consists of players between 15-18 years old.
The above is a general guideline for players that are looking to start in our Goalkeeper Academy. Players will be evaluated during their time in the Academy and may be instructed to move to different levels at the sole discretion of our Goalkeeping Academy Staff.
Our policy is for players who are 8 & 9 years old to focus on their field player skills as much as possible.
If a player this age wants to attend the Goalkeeper Academy, they need to get permission from the Director of Goalkeeping and their team's Head Coach. 8 and 9 year olds must not miss regular training sessions for keeper training.
